About

Brown Deer Village Hall 3

I’m proud to announce that I am running for another term to serve our community as Brown Deer Village President.

Over the past three years, I’ve led with strong leadership in Brown Deer and in Milwaukee County.  As President of our Village, I have continued that work by making sure that Brown Deer is thriving by attracting quality sustainable businesses, recruiting new homeowners, increasing leadership diversity, prioritizing transparency in governance and working with law enforcement to ensure that members of our community feel safe and can take pride in being a part of our village community.

About President Montgomery

In November 2020, I retired from my position as Director of Community Partnerships at Children’s Wisconsin. I spent over 40 years serving in the Milwaukee area as an advocate for children and families. As President of the Village, I have continued that work by making sure that Brown Deer families have excellent schools, beautiful parks and green spaces and safe neighborhoods for children to play and grow. I have been married to my college soul-mate, Floyd, for the past 45 years. We have three adult children, three grandchildren and two grand dogs. In my leisure time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, going to the theater, concerts and sporting events and golfing.
